Delivery
All deliveries must be signed for.
If you know that you may not be in, please leave a note for the carrier as to where they can leave the goods, ideally with a neighbour. Alternatively please give an address where you know that someone will definitely be available to sign, your place of work, for example. On signing for the goods, please check the number of parcels you are signing for, is the number of parcels you have been given by the carrier. If you sign for 2 parcels when the carrier has only given you 1, we are not obliged to replace the missing items. If after 2 attempts the carriers have been unable to deliver, and you have not contacted them to organise delivery after they have left you a card, the goods will be returned back to us. A delivery charge of £8.95 will then by made to have the goods redelivered.
The majority of orders will be delivered within 3 working days, however please allow up to 5 working days (7 working days for Kestrel products) for delivery. If you have not received your goods within this time, please contact us by email sales@ukpoles.com.
If we are unable to meet delivery times for whatever reason, we will contact you by email.
Delivery Charges
There is no delivery charge on orders over £50.00 to mainland Uk addresses. Orders under £50.00 will be charged at £8.95. For orders other than mainland Uk, shipping charges will be quoted as per order and destination.
Variances
Please be aware that there may be a slight variation in the colours due to effects of photography and viewing on different screens. We are pleased to send out a sample curtain ring, so that you can see the actual colour prior to making your purchase. Also due to the handcrafted nature of manufacture of some poles, slight variations may occur.
Back Orders
We do try our best to ensure that we have good stocks of all curtain poles on this website. If an item is out of stock we will make a note of this on the information page of that particular pole. Occasionally, an item may go out of stock before we have chance to update the website. In this instance, your order will be put on back order, this means it will be despatched as soon as new stock arrives in. We will notify you by email if an item is out of stock, with an expected delivery date. It is up to you if you are happy to wait, or if you want to cancel your order or choose another pole.
Tax Charges
Vat, charged at the current rate, is included in all prices listed on this website. Registration number 871 4711 22. A Vat receipt is available upon request.
Payment
We accept the following methods of payment : Visa Credit Card, Visa Delta, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, and Maestro. Payments can be made securely online. Transactions containing card information are transmitted over the internet in an encrypted form. Payment can also be taken over the telephone or you can send a cheque made payable to UkPoles Limited. Goods will then be despatched once the cheque has cleared with the bank.
Returns Policy/Procedure
We are pleased to offer a 14 day money back guarantee on all orders taken. (This offer applies to the goods only, and does not include any delivery charges. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund delivery charges. If you are not happy with the goods you have received, you must notify us by email sales@ukpoles.com, within 14 days of receiving the goods. Goods sent back without prior arrangement, will not be credited.
Small items should be sent back via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery Service. We will let you know the address to label your parcel.
For larger items, we can arrange collection by our carriers, the charge for this is £20.00 (mainland Uk only). The collection charge is non refundable. Goods must be returned unused and in their original packaging. Refunds will only be given on goods returned in a re-sellable condition.

Damaged Goods
Orders should be checked on receipt of delivery. Any discrepancies/damages must be reported to us by email sales@ukpoles.com within 2 working days. We will organise collection of any damaged goods and arrange for your order to be despatched again.
We advise you not to book a fitter, or any other person to carry out work until you have received and checked your order. We cannot accept any responsibility for any costs incurred if you do not follow this advice.
